A particularly challenging project, with high security requirements, significant difficulties in approach and access, and the need for specialized mechanical means, high expertise, and specific experience.
Upon completion of the project, issues related to the waterproofing of the plenary hall were resolved, and the hall was upgraded energetically.
Taking on and executing this project in one of the most significant and historic buildings in the country was a great honor for our company.
The project involved interventions in the construction of the roof covering the plenary hall of the Hellenic Parliament, aimed at improving and reinforcing it, and included:
- Maintenance and reinforcement of the metal structure of the roof covering the plenary hall
- Replacement of the existing metal curtain wall covering the plenary hall with an aluminum curtain wall
- Reinforcement of the perimeter beams made of reinforced concrete
- Construction for functional access and maintenance of the roof
- Replacement and maintenance of the window frames
- Improvement of the ventilation and lighting of the roof
- Renovation of the interior and exterior plastering of the roof
- Waterproofing of the roof on which the covering rests
